This is an excellent opportunity for a CAD Technician / CAD Designer / CAD Engineer to join a growing UK engineering business that is part of a global engineering group of companies. You will work with and be supported by experienced Engineers on engineering design projects. There will also be lots of training and development opportunities.
Your background as a CAD Technician / CAD Designer:
- You will have previous experience of using AutoCAD or a similar CAD package to produce 2D and 3D engineering drawings and designs.
- You will hold a recognised engineering qualification (Apprenticeship / HNC / HND / Degree) in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Above all, we are looking for a CAD Technician who will enjoy working on a diverse range of CAD design projects whilst continuing to develop their design experience and CAD skills.
CAD Technician / CAD Designer responsibilities:
- You will become an integral member of an agile SME engineering organisation where you will get the opportunity to work on real engineering projects supported by experienced engineers from day one.
- You will produce 2D and 3D CAD drawings and designs using AutoCAD for a wide variety of projects.
- Full projects typically cover the design, test and commissioning of integrated safety, control, and automation systems for hazardous industrial environments.
- As your experience develops as a CAD Technician, you will have the opportunity to take on a wider range of project responsibilities.
