This CAD Designer / Design Engineer job will suit candidates with:
- Previous experience in a CAD Design Engineer / CAD Designer / CAD Design focused position in a mechanical engineering or civil engineering environment.
- Experience using CAD software packages such as AutoCAD, Plant3D, Revit, or similar 2D/3D CAD packages.
- A relevant qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, degree) in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or a similar engineering discipline.
We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic and conscientious about the work they produce, leading by example with good attention to detail.
This CAD Designer / Design Engineer job will involve:
- Working within the mechanical engineering team to produce high-quality 2D and 3D engineering drawings, designs, schedules, and diagrams.
- Using a suite of Autodesk / CAD software while working on a diverse range of CAD design projects, including AutoCAD, Plant3D, Inventor, and Revit.
- Visiting client sites to survey their project requirements.
