£36,500 base salary + excellent overtime earning potential (Sat = 1.5x, Sun = 2x, Weekday OT = 1.2x) + 33 days holiday, festive shutdowns, matched pension, death in service, and healthcare plan.
Working hours: 3 Shift Rotation. Some flexibility needed as they are a 24-hour site. Week 1: 6am-2pm Mon-Fri, Week 2: 8pm-6am Mon-Thurs, Week 3: 1pm-9pm Mon-Thurs, and 10am-6pm Fri and 1 Saturday in 3 (paid at OT rate).

This Electrical Maintenance Technician job will suit:
- Those who are apprentice-trained or hold a City & Guilds, NVQ or similar, with some experience in heavy industry, ideally steel processing, slitting, or decoiling machines.
- An electrically biased technician or engineer who is comfortable with electrical assembly, fault finding, maintenance, repairs.
- Someone confident in providing occasional mechanical support where required (formal electrical qualifications are an advantage but not essential).
This Electrical Maintenance Technician job responsibilities:
- Carry out electrical installations on factory and process machinery.
- Fault-find across 415V, 240V, 110V, 24V AC/DC systems, including PLC I/O, OHCs, control panels, contactors and fuses.
- Perform testing and maintenance of emergency lighting, evacuation alarms and high bay/LED lighting.
- Support with control panel builds, basic inverter/DC drive work and general electrical upgrades.
This Electrical Maintenance Technician job is commutable from Dudley, Wolverhampton, West Bromwich, Birmingham, Walsall, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, and surrounding areas in the West Midlands.
