The SCADA Project Engineer job will suit: A SCADA Engineer or Control Systems Engineer or Electrical Engineer or Electronic Engineer who will enjoy working in a diverse and interesting role that will see you involved in engineering projects from customer enquiry, through design, test, installation, commissioning, and customer acceptance. You will become an integral member of an agile engineering team that design, manufacture and deliver integrated safety control and automation systems to the rail sector.
You will hold a relevant qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in an electrical engineering, systems engineering or similar engineering discipline. Experience of PLCs, Control Systems, Safety Control Systems, SCADA systems, Automation Systems or similar technology is preferred.
The SCADA Project Engineer job will involve:
- Delivery of rail systems engineering projects, SCADA, PLC, safety critical control and automation systems to a blue-chip customer base.
- An opportunity to be involved across the project lifecycle including design, test and overseeing the installation, and commissioning of systems at customer sites.
- Production and review of engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Liaison with clients and internal teams to drive projects forward.
- You will have the opportunity to travel at times to customer project sites (predominately UK based) to oversee the installation / commissioning, customer handover of projects etc.
