Area Sales Manager - Industrial Automation & Pneumatics. Coventry, CV1. £45,000 - £55,000 + Car + Bonus scheme.

Highly suited to someone with a background within manufacturing or engineering and any exposure to Pneumatics, Fluid power solutions or industrial control components. Territory sales role selling into end users (Manufacturers, Machine builders). Your background as an Area Sales Manager:

  • Ideally some proven experience in B2B technical sales (industrial, engineering or manufacturing).
  • Alternatively, you could have come from an applications, technical support or customer facing engineering role and are wanting to transfer over into a sales role.
  • Ability to manage the full sales lifecycle in an autonomous role.
  • Self-driven role.
  • Working with strategic or key accounts providing a consultative sales approach and building long lasting relationships & partnerships with a customer base.
  • A degree or qualification within engineering or manufacturing or a background working in a technical role.
  • Some technical knowledge of pneumatics, fluid power or industrial automation will be highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work in an autonomous role and travel across the Midlands; you must have a full UK Driving license.

Area Sales Manager Jobs responsibilities:

  • Develop strong relationships with end user customer accounts across the Midlands.
  • Strategic approach, to increase sales growth within the region.
  • A strong focus towards account management and selling within an existing customer base.
