EPR Recruitment is supporting an established Wolverhampton manufacturer in the search for an experienced Import Export Manager.
This Import Export Manager vacancy offers the opportunity to join a business supplying high-volume security products to customers throughout Europe and Asia. Interim contract role; initially 4-5 days a week for 4-5 weeks, or a few days a week fractional for a longer duration.
The successful Import Export Manager will take responsibility for ensuring products, warehouse processes, documentation and shipping systems are fully aligned prior to dispatch. This is an ideal opportunity for an Import Export Manager who combines operational logistics knowledge with strong export administration and customs compliance experience.
The Role
As Import Export Manager, you will:
- Manage import and export activities.
- Ensure the correct products are picked, packed and prepared for shipment.
- Coordinate dispatch, warehouse and administration processes.
- Verify customs documentation and export records.
- Ensure ERP and logistics systems are updated accurately.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers and customs agents.
- Support international shipments into European and Asian markets.
- Drive improvements across shipping, dispatch and export compliance processes.
