Systems Engineer (MoD / Defence – Security Cleared)
We\’re looking for a Security Cleared Systems Engineer to join a leading technology company supporting Defence and Government projects.
This is a hands‑on technical role where the Systems Engineer will be responsible for the design, configuration, and verification of secure systems and networks. You\’ll work on critical MoD and Government projects, ensuring all systems meet the highest technical and security standards.
As a Systems Engineer, you\’ll collaborate with project teams, customers, and agencies, providing technical leadership and guidance throughout the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and configuring secure MoD/Gov systems and networks
- Defining IP structures and implementing communication architectures
- Testing and verifying software and hardware builds to ensure compliance
- Producing detailed documentation and providing system training
- Liaising with MoD and Government stakeholders to meet security standards
- Supporting the Duty Engineer rota for classified systems
What you\’ll bring
- Current or eligible DV (Developed Vetting) Security Clearance
- Proven experience as a Systems Engineer within Defence, MoD, or secure environments
- Strong knowledge of ICT, IP networking, and satellite communications
- Cisco CCNA / Juniper or equivalent certification
- Degree in Engineering, IT, or related technical discipline
- Excellent communication, flexibility, and attention to detail
