We are currently recruiting for a Purchasing Coordinator who can support operations by placing purchase orders, maintaining supplier relationships, monitoring delivery performance and ensuring materials are available to support manufacturing operations while achieving quality, cost and delivery targets.

Salary & Package: c£30,000 as a guide + 25 days holiday + banks. Wider development opportunities.

  • Ideally have some prior experience using ERP / MRP systems.

  • Raise purchase orders in accordance with company purchasing procedures.
  • Monitor supplier order acknowledgements and delivery dates.
  • Expedite outstanding purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Liaise with Production Planning, Stores, Quality and Manufacturing to understand material requirements.
  • Source quotations from approved suppliers.
  • Compare supplier quotations considering cost, lead time, quality and capability.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records within the ERP/MRP system.
