Quality Inspector * Permanent day shift that sees you work 12 hour shifts, working only a total of 12 days every 4 weeks. * You get a lot of spare time on this system, working only 1 weekend during this period. * Work within a modern business who have invested heavily in new machinery and are growing rapidly. Salary: £28,652 – £33,276 depending on experience. 25 days holiday + banks. We are currently looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a rapidly expanding, established manufacturer that make special purpose components used within the aerospace sector. Training can be provided in areas for the right person, a good attitude is more important to the culture of this business. Excellent opportunity to train and learn new skills. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for: * Using calibration equipment (such as verniers, micrometres etc.) to inspect precision machined components. * Learning / operating how to operate a CMM. This can be taught to those looking to develop more CMM experience. * Other associated quality inspection duties such as compiling FAIR’s etc. * Working alongside the wider quality and production team to ensure deadlines are achieved to required standards. Skills & Experience needed as Quality Inspector: * Ideally seeking a proven Quality Inspector from an engineering background. Aerospace / Precision engineering experience would be a big advantage due to the tight tolerances required. * Capable of using some measuring tools and an openness to learn wider equipment, such as CMM. * A formal engineering qualification would be an advantage but not essential. * Enthusiastic and team driven character.
