Quality Inspection Engineer

Quality Inspection Engineer in Milton Keynes. Permanent position with a guideline salary and pension. Daytime hours from Monday to Friday.

This role involves quality inspection of high precision metal components using CMM to measure engineering tolerances and dimensional accuracy. It could suit a Quality Engineer, QA Inspector, or QC Technician from a manufacturing background who can read engineering drawings.

• Quality inspection of high precision metal components
• Monday to Friday with an early finish on Fridays
• Able to understand engineering drawings, with the attitude to learn new skills and ask when uncertain about new products
• Some experience of programming CMM equipment, or transferrable skills in CAD CAM CNC, with an interest in learning new skills in CMM programming from CAD drawings
• The ability to work to deadlines is important; this is a low-volume, high-accuracy workplace, so a good attitude towards accuracy is essential
