The Electrical Project Engineer job will suit:

  • An Electrical Engineer or Electronic Engineer who will enjoy working in a diverse and interesting role that will see you involved in engineering projects from customer enquiry, through design, test, installation, commissioning and customer acceptance.
  • You will become an integral member of an agile engineering team that design, manufacture and deliver integrated safety control and automation systems into several engineering sectors.
  • You will hold a relevant qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in electrical engineering, systems engineering or similar engineering discipline.
  • Any exposure to PLCs, Control Systems, SCADA systems, or similar technology would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of complete engineering projects, SCADA, PLC, safety critical control and automation systems to a blue‐chip customer base.
  • Opportunity to be involved across the project lifecycle including design, test and overseeing the installation, and commissioning of systems at customer sites.
  • Production and review of engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Liaison with clients and internal teams to drive projects forward.
  • Opportunity to travel at times to customer project sites (predominantly UK based) to oversee the installation / commissioning, customer handover of projects etc.

Qualifications:

  • Qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in electrical engineering, systems engineering or similar discipline.
  • Experience of designing, producing and deploying SCADA, PLC, safety and automation systems.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, control systems, SCADA and safety critical systems.
  • Ability to produce engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Strong communication, liaison, project management and teamwork skills.
