Qualifications
- Previous experience of working within a CAD Design Engineer / CAD Designer / CAD Design focused position in a mechanical engineering or civil engineering environment.
- Previous experience of using CAD software packages such as AutoCAD, Plant3D, Revit or similar 2D/3D CAD packages.
- You will hold a relevant qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, degree) in a mechanical engineering, civil engineering or a similar engineering discipline.
- We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic and conscientious about the work they produce, leading by example with good attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Working within the mechanical engineering team you will produce high quality 2D and 3D engineering drawings, designs, schedules, and diagrams.
- You will use a suite of Autodesk / CAD software whilst working on a diverse range of CAD design projects. This includes AutoCAD, Plant3D, Inventor, and Revit.
- As part of your role, you will get the opportunity to visit client sites to survey their project requirements (you will even get the chance to use drones!).
