Β£35,000 β Β£40,000 salary guide (depending on experience) + company pension + 25 days holiday. Permanent, days. 35-hour week, Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 17.15pm.

Are you a Production Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer with experience improving processes, supporting production and driving continuous improvement within a machining or assembly environment?
Your background as a Production Engineer:
- Degree-qualified or HNC / HND in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Production or similar.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, jigs & fixtures and production equipment.
- Ideally, experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) and continuous improvement activities.
- Confident interpreting engineering drawings and working cross-functionally with design, production and quality teams.
- We are happy for people to pivot into this role who are 3-5 years into their engineering career.
Production Engineer responsibilities:
- Define, develop and improve manufacturing processes to meet quality, cost, delivery and safety targets.
- Support production through robust process definition, tooling solutions and technical documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives across machining and assembly areas.
- Provide manufacturing input to NPI, DFM activities, capacity planning and productivity improvements.
- Ensure all processes comply with company procedures, quality standards and health & safety legislation.
