Hands‑on electrical training role within a leading engineering training provider. Are you an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Industrial Electrician, Controls Engineer or Electrical Trainer looking to move into a rewarding training‑focused role?
Your background as an Electrical Engineering Trainer:
- Electrically biased engineer with solid industrial maintenance experience.
- Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance, motor control and industrial electrics.
- Experience or understanding of PLCs, inverters, HMIs and fault‑finding techniques.
- Confident communicator who can engage and develop learners.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to customer sites (occasional overnight stays).
Electrical Engineering Trainer responsibilities:
- Deliver hands‑on commercial electrical maintenance training courses.
- Train and assess engineers in industrial electrics, motor control, PLCs and fault diagnosis.
- Carry out technical skills assessments and maintain accurate documentation.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of electrical training materials.
- Create a safe, engaging and positive learning environment.
Training delivery will be primarily based at Coventry, with some delivery at Redditch and customer premises as required. This role is commutable from Coventry, Rugby, Nuneaton, Bedworth, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Solihull and surrounding areas.
