Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a standalone role with occasional support from Advisors.
Multisite role, 4 UK sites in total, predominantly based in Coventry. Wider travel only once per quarter on average.

Are you an experienced EHS Manager or Health and Safety Manager looking for a new challenge? We are working with a reputable, established manufacturer who is experiencing strong growth. In order to help continue this upward trend, they are looking to improve their Health and Safety function. The company has good systems (ISO45001) in place and have made big strides across H&S over recent years. We need someone with a passion for promoting a strong Health & Safety culture, who can take a hands-on approach, and can influence individuals at all levels as they look to continue developing further.
Salary & Hours: £60,000 per annum as a guide – possible flexibility around this. 10% pension scheme. Wider healthcare package to include family. Working hours typically 8:30am to 5:00pm Mon – Fri.
This EHS Manager job will suit:
- Proven experience within a H&S role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge and experience of ISO 45001 system.
- Strong character to keep driving improvements and promoting a H&S culture. Influencing individuals is still required across certain areas of the business.
- Someone with a passion and attitude to keep developing. We could possibly look at someone who wants to step up into management.
- Multisite experience would be an advantage, or someone who is happy to work under this structure.
- Environmental / SHEQ experience would be an advantage, but not essential.
- NEBOSH Diploma qualified.

- Chair HSE review and improvement meetings providing reports and records as required.
- Investigate, record and instigate actions where necessary for all accidents, incidents, and complaints.
- Oversee the effective control of document management and approvals, risk assessment records, safe systems of work, non-conformance corrective and preventative actions, communications of company and employee responsibilities.
