• Working hours : 3 Shift Rotation Some flexibility needed as they are a 24-hour site. Week 1 : 6am-2pm Mon-Fri, Week 2 : 8pm-6am Mon-Thurs, Week 3 : 1pm-9pm Mon-Thurs, and 10am-6pm Fri and 1 Saturday in 3 (paid at OT rate).

A maintenance engineering opportunity to join one of the UKs largest independent steel toll processors, working on heavy industrial machinery.

This Maintenance Engineer job will suit :

• An apprentice-trained or City & Guilds qualified engineer with experience in heavy industry, ideally steel processing, slitting, or decoiling machines.
• A mechanically biased engineer who is comfortable with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding / fabrication, bench fitting, and general assembly skills.
• Someone confident in basic electrical fault finding (formal electrical qualifications are an advantage but not essential).
