Our client isa leading and well-respected manufacturing company who specialise within the
Oil & Gas industry. Due to increased demand in the machine shop they
are now looking for a skilled CNC Miller.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in engineering with proven experience as a Machine Operator.
- Ability to set, operate and edit CNC milling machines using Fanuc controls.
- Previous experience machining large components.
- Manufacture or modify tooling, such as jigs, fixtures and moulds.
- Lays out and verifies dimensions of parts, using precision measuring and marking equipment and knowledge of trigonometry.
- Ability to utilise Epicor systems for logging work times to maintain booking compliance.
- CNC Horizontal boring experience desired.
- Able to understand and machine to ISO engineering drawings and is able to work to close tolerances.
- Competent in using measuring equipment eg. Micrometers and Vernier calipers.
- Have basic IT skills.
- Attention to detail and self-motivation.
