Euro Packaging is an award-winning global packaging manufacturer with production facilities across Europe and South East Asia. We specialise in a range of paper and plastic-based packaging products selling to many of the world’s largest retailers including Marks & Spencer, Amazon, Tesco and Starbucks. We now have an exciting opportunity to join our sales team to drive the growth of our distributor and merchant channel across a dedicated area.
The Territory Manager will be responsible for managing and growing an existing customer base, whilst also developing new business across the region. As market leaders in our field, we sell a range of catering and paper products including paper and polythene bags, disposable food packaging and cleaning products. We are ideally looking for someone from an FMCG background with experience of selling similar products into the distributors and resellers.
Key Accountabilities:- To achieve and exceed individual territory sales target and new business sales target in line with the company budget.
- To manage and ensure profitable growth within your territory account portfolio.
- To identify and prospect new business opportunities and convert into new business wins.
- To acquire, maintain and communicate back to the business up-to-date competitor information which will include product range offering, services and pricing policies.
- To plan coverage of your territory account portfolio using a detailed journey plan.
- To collate a detailed profile for each of your accounts which will include key decision makers, products supplied, new product opportunities and contract period where applicable.
- To plan a sales strategy for each account with clear objectives to ensure profitable growth.
- To communicate with all appropriate departments to ensure set objectives for individual accounts are met.
- To monitor stock levels and movements on any bespoke product lines.
- If problems arise, take responsibility for the clearance stock.
- To assist the credit control supervisor to ensure strict payment to terms as agreed with each account.
