EP Group is an award-winning, global packaging manufacturer with production facilities across Europe and South East Asia. Our global headquarters in Birmingham is home to our dedicated paper manufacturing division providing a wide range of food packaging products for the likes of McDonald's, Amazon, Marks & Spencer and Greggs. We are now seeking a Shunter Driver for afternoons, to be based on site here in Birmingham. Hours: 2pm - 12am.
Key Responsibilities:
- Internal shunter - moving trailers and rigids onto bays for loading
- Liaising with Warehouse, Manufacturing and Transport
- The shunter will be required to go out on the road between different sites
- On rare occasions or peak periods, you may be required to do deliveries
Key Requirements:
- Class 1 license
- Shunting experience is desirable
- Ensuring the trucks and rigids are left organised before end of shift
- Handover to the morning shunter
- Adhering to all Health and Safety protocols
