EP Group is an award-winning, global packaging manufacturer with production facilities across Europe and Southeast Asia. Our global headquarters in Birmingham is home to our dedicated paper manufacturing division providing a wide range of food packaging products for the likes of McDonald's, Amazon, Marks & Spencer and Greggs.
We are now seeking an Account Support Executive, based on site here in Birmingham, to support some of our largest customers in the retail sector. The role of the Account Support Executive is to be the office-based customer liaison. You will work closely with the account management team to establish and agree activities. By working with customer stakeholders and internal colleagues, your ownership of service delivery will enable Account Managers to spend more time with the customer.
Key Responsibilities:- Representing EPG on customer-facing calls and Teams meetings
- Supporting on help desk as and when required
- Successfully working with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational and technical issues, as well as improve the customer experience
- Maintaining knowledge of products, services and processes to address queries effectively
- Ensure accurate pricing is maintained
- Generating ad hoc reports and basic data analysis
- Creating product codes
- Occasional cover on reception area
- Maintaining customer product portal
- Effective communicator, both written and orally
- Ability to build collaborative working relationships across multiple departments
- Experienced in building trusted partnerships with clients and colleagues
- Strong attention to detail, with ability to multi-task, plan and prioritise
- Understanding of when to escalate and when to take ownership
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- A good understanding of Excel
- Group focused and supportive of colleagues
This is an office-based role between 8.00am to 5.30pm (based on 8-hour shifts with half an hour for lunch). The hours may vary according to the needs of the business.
