Euro Municipal Ltd is a market leader in the hire, sales, and maintenance of Refuse Collection Vehicles (RCVs) and municipal equipment. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic to join our team in North Scarle, Lincoln (LN6). This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HGV Fitter or Heavy Vehicle Technician looking for a stable, long-term role within a supportive and growing company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Routine inspections, servicing, and defect repairs on HGVs
  • Preparing vehicles for hire and sale
  • Carrying out pre-MOT inspections and attending MOT tests
  • Fault diagnosis, repair, and general HGV maintenance
  • Occasional roadside repairs and support
  • Completing inspection, service, and compliance paperwork
  • Working independently and within a workshop team
  • Liaising with parts and office teams as required
  • Following all Health & Safety procedures

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload
  • Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working to deadlines

Desirable (not essential)

  • Experience with RCVs or municipal vehicles
  • Welding, hydraulics, or auto-electrical skills
  • IRTEC qualification
  • HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
