Euro Municipal Ltd is a market leader in the hire, sales, and maintenance of Refuse Collection Vehicles (RCVs) and municipal equipment. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic to join our team in North Scarle, Lincoln (LN6). This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HGV Fitter or Heavy Vehicle Technician looking for a stable, long-term role within a supportive and growing company.
Key Responsibilities
- Routine inspections, servicing, and defect repairs on HGVs
- Preparing vehicles for hire and sale
- Carrying out pre-MOT inspections and attending MOT tests
- Fault diagnosis, repair, and general HGV maintenance
- Occasional roadside repairs and support
- Completing inspection, service, and compliance paperwork
- Working independently and within a workshop team
- Liaising with parts and office teams as required
- Following all Health & Safety procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and manage workload
- Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working to deadlines
Desirable (not essential):
- Experience with RCVs or municipal vehicles
- Welding, hydraulics, or auto-electrical skills
- IRTEC qualification
- HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
