Our client, an established multinational based in Wigan, is looking to recruit a fluent German speaker for their Customer Service Team. Reporting to the team leader, the Customer Service Team Representative is to act as the primary representative regarding communication to the customer for all aspects of service and customer care.
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver a high standard of service to all aspects of the Business.
- Assist in customer order fulfilment activities such as taking orders, giving information, determining delivery dates, and identifying appropriate shipping methods and rates.
- Liaise with all company department staff to continuously improve processing and delivery times of customer orders.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints/enquiries in a timely and accurate manner – delivering solutions that match the customer’s needs and meet their objectives.
- Manage and resolve conflict when unable to meet the customer’s expectations, with a minimum amount of input from line managers and sales managers.
Expected Capabilities:
- Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
- Confident in addressing difficult situations using the telephone as a first method of communication to the customer.
- Able and prepared to make decisions within the scope of the role.
- Make quick-thinking decisions and adapt to different situations, identifying potential issues.
- Oversee customer projects from initial receipt of order through planning, manufacturing, shipping, and final delivery.
- Ensure daily workload is completed, including occasional overtime when required by urgent circumstances.
- Remain organized and proactive at all times, identifying priorities and managing multiple situations simultaneously.
Qualifications:
- Previous commercial/office experience at a B2B level, working in a professional environment with proven customer service experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems and databases.
- Full UK work permit required.
