An established and growing organisation is seeking a German-speaking Sales Support Administrator to join its European sales support team, based in Salisbury. This role plays a key part in supporting Key Account Managers and distributors across Europe through high-quality administration, coordination, and customer communication.
You will act as a key point of contact for customers and partners, ensuring sales processes run smoothly and efficiently while delivering excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as a primary point of contact for customers, retailers, and distributors
- Support Key Account Managers and Sales Support colleagues with day-to-day administration
- Translate materials into German where appropriate
- Respond to website and email enquiries in German and English
- Complete customer new line and promotional administration
- Monitor and update customer websites with product listings, images, content, promotions and media
- Build strong relationships with distributor sales teams and support them with marketing materials
- Process and track POS requests, ensuring timely delivery
- Answer general phone lines and direct or resolve enquiries
- Organise trade shows in the UK and Europe and attend where required
- Develop and maintain databases of retailers and contacts
- Support compliance-related administration and customer approvals
- Assist the wider sales support and administration team during absences
- Provide ad hoc support to the sales team as required
- Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
- Strong communication skills with a professional telephone manner
- Excellent IT skills - particularly for Microsoft Excel is essential
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
