We are currently looking for a Multilingual Import Operations Executive on behalf of one of our clients who works in Freight Forwarding, Logistics and Supply Chain.

This is a remote role and the position is full time and permanent. Candidates can be based anywhere in the UK or EU and the salary range is £45000-£55000 depending on experience.

We are looking for candidates who can speaking English and another European language (German, Polish, Italian or Spanish would be beneficial) and have around 3 years of experience in Freight or Logistics.

They must also be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of import and export procedures in Europe.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full shipment cycle for their B2B client base.

Maintaining constant communication with customers and carriers is essential in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Handle documentation of international shipments via air, road and ocean.
  • Maintain constant communication with customers and suppliers.
  • Update the company database accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all invoicing from suppliers complies with company terms and price limits.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and the highest level of customer service.

What we're looking for

  • Fluent English and fluency in at least one other European language.
  • 2-3 years of experience in an international freight forwarding role.
  • Demonstrable understanding of European import and export procedures.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills.
  • Confidence solving complex problems and working well under pressure.
