Our client is looking for a commercially minded and analytical Buying Analyst to join their team on a maternity cover contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in purchasing, forecasting, or commercial analysis to play a key role within a fast-paced business environment.
The Role:
- Support purchasing and forecasting activities across multiple product areas
- Analyse supplier pricing, quotations, and cost trends
- Maintain accurate cost and inventory data
- Monitor supplier spend and identify opportunities for improved efficiencies
- Support stock and raw material planning to minimise waste and maximise usage
- Work closely with finance and operational teams to support reporting and forecasting processes
- Assist with supplier management and purchasing administration
About You:
- Previous experience in buying, purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or commercial analysis
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and other business systems
- Experience with ERP systems is advantageous
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Fluency in Italian highly advantageous but not essential
