Assistant Mechanical Engineer

Its product range spans from high-volume components for multinational clients to low-volume, tailor-made items for niche applications. The company supplies a wide array of sectors, including public safety, defence, transportation, utilities, industrial manufacturing, construction, and consumer products. The Assistant Mechanical Engineer will report directly to the Senior Engineer and work within a small, focused team. Responsibilities include the complete lifecycle design of new products and auxiliary tools using CAD software, enhancing existing designs, revising technical drawings, managing documentation, and generating inspection reports for product validation. Key Working Relationships: This role is based at the company’s main office within the design department and involves close collaboration with the electrical engineering, quality assurance, production teams, and external suppliers.
