Are you a qualified accountant with fluent French and experience in financial reporting, statutory accounts and controls within a complex international business?
Euro London is partnering with a leading global consumer goods organisation to hire a French-speaking Financial Controller into its growing Shared Finance function.
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of financial accounting, compliance and reporting for multiple entities while leading process improvements and supporting a team of finance professionals.
Key responsibilities
- Managing month-end and year-end close
- Preparing statutory accounts and regulatory filings
- Ensuring VAT, Intrastat and EC Sales List compliance
- Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintaining strong financial controls and SOX compliance
- Managing auditor relationships
- Supporting group reporting activities
- Driving process improvement and finance transformation initiatives
- Supervising and developing Assistant Controllers
About you
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Fluent French and English
- Strong financial accounting and reporting experience
- SAP experience
- Multi-entity, multi-currency experience
- Experience managing teams and/or outsourced providers
- Strong understanding of controls, compliance and governance
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Candidates whose experience is primarily within FP&A, commercial finance or finance business partnering are unlikely to be a strong match.
