We have an exciting new role for a Design Engineer to form part of an innovative and growing Biomedical Devices company. You will be joining an experienced team with the vision to grow the business worldwide. You will have the opportunity to bring new technology to new regions.
Responsibilities:
- Design support in the product design of new medical device products.
- Managing design documentation in accordance with ISO 13485 and FDA Quality Management System.
- Providing support to manufacturing and post-sales activities as required.
- Some travel to customer sites.
- Facilitate effective design control and risk management activities both internally and with external partners.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential design flaws.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for design issues.
- Conduct usability studies and incorporate user feedback into design improvements.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering is essential.
- Minimum 2 years in an engineering role within medical devices.
- Must be fluent in written and spoken English to C1 level.
- Good understanding of reporting requirements under MDR/ISO-13485.
- Desirable: Experience with CAD drawings, Programming, IT networking.
