We have an excellent new opening, due to growth, for an experienced mid-senior level Bid Manager with fluent French. Reporting to the company Director, you will form part of the Bid/Tender team where you will be working on bids across EMEA. The position can be equally based in the UK, South Shields area or Strasbourg. Both locations require regular/daily on site presence from initial employment, offering potential hybrid at a later date.

You will be making and supporting strategic decisions deciding on which business opportunities to pursue. Furthermore, you will be involved in proposing Bids, making them competitive and compliant, looking to win opportunities. You will collaborate with a cross functional team including design and M&E and work closely with Leadership to produce proposals that meet client needs and drive growth.

Key Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Estimating or Commercial roles, ideally in the high-tech construction industry such as pharmaceutical, semiconductor, data centre or similar.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and planning skills, with a talent for negotiation and a proactive, 'win-win' mindset.
  • Understanding of the Construction Project industry, with M&E experience being essential.
  • Relevant qualifications in civil or structural engineering are preferred.
  • Experience of multiple markets, specifically the UK and Europe.
  • Professionally proficient in English and French with additional German as highly desirable.
