Join Starbucks as an Assistant Manager and play a key role in creating exceptional customer experiences while leading a high‐performing team. In this fast‐paced and rewarding role, you'll support the day‐to‐day running of the store and confidently lead operations in the Store Manager's absence, ensuring everything runs smoothly and targets are achieved. You'll lead from the front supporting customers, preparing beverages, maintaining excellent store standards, and creating a welcoming environment that customers love returning to. A Typical Day as an Assistant Manager:
- Lead and support the team by acting as second‐in‐command, delegating tasks, creating a positive working environment, and helping colleagues feel welcomed, supported, and set up for success.
- Coach, develop, and inspire team members through regular guidance, feedback, and mentoring to help individuals grow and perform at their best.
- Drive operational success by supporting rota planning in line with budgets and labour targets while encouraging the team to maximise promotions and enhance the customer experience.
- Recognise and celebrate success by creating an engaging environment where individual and team achievements are acknowledged and rewarded.
- Take ownership of store operations in the Store Manager's absence, ensuring smooth day‐to‐day performance and maintaining Starbucks standards across all areas of the business.
- Deliver commercial results by managing stock, overseeing inventory control and reporting, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and minimise waste.
- Maintain exceptional store standards by ensuring merchandising, availability, presentation, and food safety requirements are consistently achieved.
- Champion safety and compliance by ensuring Health & Safety, Food Safety, hygiene, and cash handling procedures are followed to the highest standards.

- Previous management experience is preferred, but not essential.
