EG Group is looking for an experienced Indirect Tax Manager to join our Group Finance team. Our team of Indirect Tax Managers support all of our European territories, with each manager taking ownership of a specific country or region. Reporting to the Indirect Tax Director, you will be responsible for indirect tax compliance, VAT reporting, and providing expert guidance on VAT matters within your assigned territory. Working closely with Finance teams, external advisors, and tax authorities, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance, managing indirect tax risk, and supporting the wider business with day-to-day tax queries and strategic initiatives.

What you’ll be doing:
- Managing indirect tax compliance, VAT reporting, and filings for your assigned country or region, ensuring accurate and timely submissions
- Providing expert advice on VAT and indirect tax matters to Finance and operational teams within your assigned territory
- Identifying opportunities to improve VAT efficiency and support indirect tax planning initiatives within your country or region
- Managing relationships with external advisors, tax authorities, and key stakeholders
- Supporting tax audits, enquiries, and investigations, ensuring issues are resolved effectively
- Providing indirect tax support on acquisitions, restructures, and other strategic business projects
- Working closely with Finance, IT, and SAP teams to ensure indirect tax requirements are embedded within systems and processes
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of indirect tax legislation and regulatory developments

What we’re looking for:
- CTA qualified (or equivalent) with strong indirect tax experience gained within industry or practice
- Proven experience managing VAT compliance and reporting responsibilities
- Strong technical knowledge of VAT and wider indirect taxes, including GST, Sales Tax, or Excise Duties
- Experience supporting tax audits, enquiries, and compliance reviews
- Ability to build effective relationships with external advisors, tax authorities, and internal stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legislation and provide practical solutions
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical matters clearly to non‑tax stakeholders
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
