About the Role
EG Group are looking for a Head of Fuel Pricing & Wetstock Management to lead the strategic direction, commercial performance, and operational effectiveness of our fuel operations across European markets. Reporting to the European Fuel Director, you will be responsible for driving pricing strategy, maximising profitability, ensuring inventory integrity, and delivering operational excellence across a large and complex forecourt network. This is a high-impact leadership role that combines commercial decision-making, data-driven analysis, and operational governance. Leading a multidisciplinary team across pricing, wetstock, business intelligence, and operational support, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to optimise performance, drive continuous improvement, and support the ongoing growth of the business.

What you’ll be doing
- Leading fuel pricing strategy across European markets, balancing volume, margin, competitiveness, and market dynamics to maximise commercial performance.
- Overseeing the wetstock management function, ensuring strong inventory controls, stock accuracy, loss prevention, and operational compliance.
- Driving data-led decision-making through advanced analytics, reporting, and business intelligence tools to identify opportunities and improve performance.
- Leading and developing high-performing teams across pricing, wetstock, business intelligence, and operational support functions.
- Delivering continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, process optimisation, and enhanced governance.
- Managing cross-functional projects relating to fuel operations, pricing optimisation, technology transformation, and business growth initiatives.
- Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Retail, Supply Chain, Procurement, Technology, and Executive Leadership teams.
- Ensuring robust governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks are maintained across all pricing and wetstock activities.

What we’re looking for
- Significant leadership experience within fuel retail, petroleum, convenience retail, energy, or a comparable pricing-led commercial environment.
- Proven experience leading fuel pricing, wetstock management, commercial operations, or similar large-scale analytical functions.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving profitability, operational performance, and strategic decision-making.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insight and action.
- Advanced experience using Power BI and reporting tools to develop dashboards, performance reporting, and data-driven solutions.
- Demonstrable experience leading business transformation, continuous improvement, and operational change initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively at senior and executive leadership level.
- Experience managing and developing high-performing, cross-functional teams within a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present recommendations and business cases confidently.
- Experience operating across multiple countries or international markets would be advantageous.
