What will my role look like?
Our Transport manager is looking for a reliable and hardworking HGV Driver to join the team if you are an HGV or Class 2 driver looking for work/life balance and knowing your shift patterns in advance this might just be the right move for you.
As a HGV Driver your typical day starts between2:00am and 3:00am,you will start your early morning shift at our Bakery, complete checks and load your vehicle with Cooplands products. Once this is complete, it is time to hit the road! You will travel along a structured route delivering products to our retail destinations, and after your delivery drops are complete, you will head back to the bakery and prepare your vehicle for the following day.
This is a full-time 40-hour permanent opportunity with guaranteed contracted hours inclusive of 45 minutes paid breaks. We operate on a 7-week rolling shift pattern (including weekends), so you can enjoy a healthy work/life balance knowing your guaranteed shift patterns in advance.
Due to the role being physically demanding with repetitive heavy lifting, we are looking for a physically fit individual who enjoys early mornings and working in a routine driven fast-paced environment.
Candidate Requirements:
Class 2 License
Up to date CPC (AllCPC hours included in working week and paid)
Physically capable as heavy lifting will be involved.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Available for early morning starts between 2am and 3am
Experience Preferred but not essential.
