EG Group are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join the Central Buying team at Head Office. In this role, you will provide administrative support to help ensure the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day buying and supplier activities across the department. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organised, proactive, and looking to develop their experience within a fast-paced commercial environment. You will work closely with colleagues across the Buying team, supporting a range of administrative and coordination tasks while gaining exposure to supplier management and retail operations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Central Buying team.
- Maintaining accurate records, spreadsheets, and supplier information.
- Supporting the coordination of product, pricing, and supplier documentation.
- Assisting with purchase order administration and general data entry tasks.
- Managing emails, correspondence, and internal queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Supporting the preparation of reports, presentations, and meeting documentation.
- Working collaboratively with internal departments and suppliers to support the smooth running of buying activities.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in an administrative, office support, or retail support role is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
