Euro Farm Wales are looking for a hard working individual to join our lairage team. Previous experience of working with cattle is essential.

Responsibilities include:

  • Understanding the delivery declarations and ensuring they are completed accurately, including checking the food chain information.
  • Verifying that all cattle are present along with their passports.
  • Ensuring that all cattle are penned appropriately within the legal requirements.
  • Working strictly to the company procedures and ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed correctly.
  • Meeting all legal requirements regarding water, feed, and bedding.
  • Clarifying any anomalies with regard to the cattle in a timely manner, such as fallen stock or lairage incidents.
  • Providing administration support for the Abattoir manager as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Animal Welfare Qualification (WATOC) - all relevant training will be given.
  • Good practical skills.
  • Teamwork skills.
  • Good communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £13.00 per hour
