Senior Quantity Surveyor – Glasgow – Substations

AA Euro are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading contractor in the Power & Renewables sector. The role will focus on the commercial management of large-scale projects including substations, grid connections, and battery storage developments.

Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of projects.
• Prepare and review contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.
• Monitor project costs and provide accurate financial reporting.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, payments, and variations.
• Support project teams with commercial guidance and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally at senior level.
• Civil or electrical bias with strong background in substations, grid connections, or battery storage projects.
• Solid knowledge of contract management (NEC experience desirable).
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Eligible to work in Scotland (no sponsorship provided).
