Key Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse operations, resources, and customer service, including leading the General Assistant team.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation in all warehouse areas.
• Work towards balanced performance across key metrics and KPIs aligned with business goals.
• Maintain branch standards and compliance to ensure balanced performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop teams to build skills and capabilities.
• Conduct regular reviews to enhance colleague engagement and support development.
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager on succession planning.
• Recruit effectively to attract future talent.
• Deliver daily briefings to communicate key objectives and measures.
• Work approximately 44 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm, and alternate Saturdays 8am-4pm.

Skills And Experience

• Excellent communication skills to develop customer and colleague relationships.
• Experience leading a warehouse operations team with a customer-focused attitude.
• Knowledge of recruitment processes.
• Understanding of P&L management and stock booking procedures.
• Strong ability to identify and resolve Health and Safety issues.
• Ability to review, challenge, and develop colleagues for optimal performance and growth.
