An exciting opportunity for an experienced Stock Controller with an immediate start at a market leading, dynamic and renowned property, technology and innovative, technology-based car parking company. Euro Car Parks is a market leading, renowned UK business, established over 50 years ago, operating over 3500 sites across the UK and Ireland providing specialist services to a wide range of blue-chip clients.

This role is ideally suited to an experienced stock control professional with a strong interest in technology and IT, and a proven track record of leading inventory management operations. As Stock Control Lead/Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end stock management function, acting as a strategic link between Projects, Procurement, Field Operations, and Finance teams.

You will be responsible for ensuring optimal inventory levels, driving efficient procurement processes, and maintaining robust stock control systems across the business. The role will lead on process governance, continuous improvement initiatives, and performance reporting, ensuring stock accuracy, cost control, and operational efficiency.

In addition to overseeing day-to-day operations, you will play a key role in developing and improving stock management strategies, mentoring team members, and implementing best practices aligned to business growth and technological evolution.

Main Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Lead and oversee the management, purchase and replenishment of goods to guarantee stock levels and timely fulfilment of orders.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to manage and maintain stock replenishment.
  • Lead regular stock audits and reconciliation, ensuring high levels of stock accuracy.
  • Implement and maintain inventory management systems and processes.
  • Preparing and dispatching stock required for installations and support teams ensuring correct labelling and packaging.
  • Maintain a high standard of organisation in the stock location ensuring health and safety compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Booking in of all deliveries, ensuring they match the purchase order and carrying out basic inspection checks.
Reporting and Analysis:
  • Generate and analyse reports on inventory levels and stock movement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving stock management process.
  • Investigate and report on short shipments and handle daily and weekly reporting requirements.
  • Support cost control initiatives through effective inventory planning, forecasting and stock management.
Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the procurement, project management and technical support to ensure seamless operations.
  • Collaborate with Management and Operational staff to ensure accuracy for incoming and outgoing loads, adjusting as needed.
  • Provide guidance and support to operational teams to ensure consistent and effective stock handling practices.
Equipment Pre-Assembly:
  • Oversee or support the configuration and preparation of technical equipment including building cabinets, and configuring cameras, tablets and routers.
  • Carry out minor assembly operations for works orders.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and scale pre-configuration.
Skills:
  • Proven history of stock control management.
  • Can work under pressure, multitask, work to deadlines and have a high level of attention to detail.
  • Being able to work independently as well as building strong relationships with other teams.
  • Must be adaptable to assist in all areas with a flexible approach.
  • Clear communication skills.
  • Good level of IT literacy in Microsoft Office.
  • Great customer service.
