An exciting Parking Attendant role with a salary of £12.21 per hour day rate and £14.30 per hour night rate for a permanent role based at our site in Markham Moor, Retford. We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a Parking Attendant with an immediate start at a market‑leading, dynamic and renowned property, technology and innovative, technology‑based car parking company.

Euro Car Parks is a market‑leading, renowned UK business, established over 50 years ago. The company operates over 3,500 sites across the UK and Ireland providing specialist services to a wide range of blue‑chip clients.

The role: 40 hours per week on a rota basis. The successful candidate will need to be flexible as the rota can change to suit business needs. The rate of pay is £12.21 per hour (day) / £14.30 per hour (night). The role will be subject to references and DBS check, and full training will be provided.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking regular patrols of the car park.
  • On‑site cleaning duties.
  • Issuing the appropriate enforcement notice to vehicles which contravene the on‑site regulations.
  • Customer service – assisting with queries and complaints.
  • Frontline machine maintenance.
  • General on‑site admin.
  • Receiving trucks (assisting with payments in the new system).
  • Monitoring incoming trucks (i.e. parking regulations).
  • Reporting any maintenance concerns.
  • Reporting any HSSE incidents to ECP or Emergency Services.
  • Responding/assisting with customer queries and complaints.

Skills:

  • Good communication skills both verbal and in writing.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Good numerical skills.
  • Good technical experience and ability to use smartphones and/or PDAs.
  • The ability to deal with conflict whilst remaining calm and polite at all times.
  • The ability to work under one's own initiative and self‑motivate.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Aware of health and safety.
