We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Development Team Lead (Full Stack) with an immediate start at a market leading, dynamic and renowned property, technology and innovative, technology-based car parking company. Euro Car Parks is a market leading, renowned UK business, established over 50 years ago. The company operates over 3500 sites across the UK and Ireland providing specialist services to a wide range of blue-chip clients.
The role:
- We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Full Stack Development Team Lead who enjoys working in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.
- At least a 50:50 split between hands-on development in .NET and team lead.
- Collaborative and positive approach to mentoring and leading-by-example in day-to-day development and sprint activities.
- Guidance and support for other development team members through peer review and positive feedback.
- Understanding and enthusiasm for best practice development embodying Clean architecture and SOLID design principles.
- Assist in team planning effectively to deliver robust, modular and testable code and adhere to engineering procedures and code conventions.
- Active contribution to the positive growth of the work environment.
- Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Lead and support the development team to remove risks, impediments and manage dependencies associated with delivery timelines and product quality, driving a balance between rapid iteration and long-term product sustainability.
- Coordinate with the wider senior team on roadmap planning based on velocity and team capacity.
- Act as a mentor and develop people within the delivery teams through coaching, mentoring and supporting them in their key skills, accountabilities and development areas.
Technical Skills:
- .NET framework, particularly with ASP.NET Core, React/React Native, C#, Web API.
- Strong experience in working with Azure (preferably certified) including App Services, Azure Function, Service Bus.
- Experience leading and mentoring small-to-medium hybrid teams of developers with varying skill levels and provide guidance through peer reviews.
- Experience in Azure, including DevOps CI/CD processes, Service bus Architecture, Microservices, Functions, Web apps, IAC.
- Experience with AI driven development tools such as Claude.
- Experience developing REST API-driven mobile first web applications.
- Experience of frontend application development, with a focus on React.js, Next.js and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with Jira, Bitbucket, Git Flow, Confluence, Azure Devops, Azure App Centre, Service Bus Explorer, SSMS and agile software development process/practices and other productivity tools.
- Knowledge of AI-driven development/LLM/Azure Document Intelligence.
- Experience with Elastic Search/Kibana/ELK Stack.
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps, YAML, Terraform.
