We currently have an opportunity for a Parking Attendant at our site in Markham Moor, Retford.
Responsibilities
- Undertaking regular patrols of the car park.
- Onsite cleaning duties.
- Issuing enforcement notices to vehicles contravening onsite regulations.
- Customer service – assisting with queries and complaints.
- Front‑line machine maintenance.
- General onsite admin.
- Receiving trucks (assisting with payments in the new system).
- Monitoring incoming trucks and parking regulations.
- Reporting maintenance concerns.
- Reporting HSSE incidents to ECP or Emergency Services.
- Responding and assisting with customer queries and complaints.
Qualifications & Skills
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good customer service skills.
- Good numerical skills.
- Technical experience and ability to use smartphones and/or PDAs.
- Ability to deal with conflict while remaining calm and polite.
- Ability to work independently and self‑motivate.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Aware of Health and Safety.
Working hours
The role is full‑time for 40 hours per week on a rota basis. Week One 14:00‑22:00. Week Two 22:00‑06:00. The successful candidate will need to be flexible as the rota can change to suit business needs.
Pay
The rate of pay is £12.21 per hour, £14.30 per hour night rate.
