An exciting Development Team Lead (Full Stack) role with a salary of £100,000 plus commission and career progression opportunities for a permanent role based in our Marylebone, London office. We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Development Team Lead with an immediate start at a market‑leading, dynamic and renowned property, technology and innovative, technology‑based car parking company.
Euro Car Parks is a market‑leading, renowned UK business, established over 50 years ago. The company operates over 3,500 sites across the UK and Ireland, providing specialist services to a wide range of blue‑chip clients.
Overview of Responsibilities- Lead a collaborative and positive approach to mentoring and leading by example in day‑to‑day development and sprint activities.
- Provide guidance and support for other development team members through peer review and positive feedback.
- Show understanding and enthusiasm for best‑practice development, embodying Clean Architecture and SOLID design principles.
- Assist in team planning to deliver robust, modular and testable code, adhering to engineering procedures and code conventions.
- Actively contribute to the positive growth of the work environment.
- Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
- Lead and support the development team to remove risks, impediments and manage dependencies associated with delivery timelines and product quality, balancing rapid iteration with long‑term product sustainability.
- Coordinate with the wider senior team on roadmap planning based on velocity and team capacity.
- Act as a mentor and develop people within the delivery teams through coaching, mentoring and supporting them in their key skills, accountabilities and development areas.
- Duties will include: at least a 50:50 split between hands‑on development in .NET and team activities.
- 5+ years experience working with the .NET framework, particularly with ASP.NET Core, React/React Native, C#, Web API.
- Strong experience with Azure (preferably certified), including App Services, Azure Functions, Service Bus.
- Experience leading and mentoring small‑to‑medium hybrid teams of developers, providing guidance through peer reviews.
- Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD processes, Service Bus architecture, microservices, functions, web apps, IAC.
- Experience with AI‑driven development tools such as Claude.
- Experience developing REST API‑driven mobile‑first web applications.
- Experience in frontend application development, focusing on React.js, Next.js and TypeScript.
- Proficiency with Jira, Bitbucket, Git Flow, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Azure App Centre, Service Bus Explorer, SSMS and agile development processes and other productivity tools.
- Experience with AI‑driven development, LLMs, Azure Document Intelligence.
- Experience with Elastic Search, Kibana, ELK Stack.
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps, YAML, Terraform.
