Euro Auctions conducts unreserved auctions of industrial plant, construction equipment and agricultural machinery on a global basis with sites in the UK, Europe, UAE, Australia, and US. We are the market leader in Europe, holding more sales and selling more lots per sale than any other auction house.
Key Activities:
- Obtaining quotes and raising customer and purchase orders.
- Responsible for coordinating third party equipment being shipped and transported worldwide ensuring all loads are hauled timely meeting all auction and shipping deadlines.
- Responsible for completing customs declarations and any regulatory paperwork as required.
- Source new suppliers globally ensuring routes and schedules used are efficient and cost effective.
- Communicate and update other departments on status of loads.
The Person:
We’re on the lookout for someone with exceptional planning and organisational skills. Highly organised with attention to detail and excellent forward planning skills with the ability to problem solve in pressured situations.
The Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Excellent forward planning skills with the ability to problem solve in pressured situations.
- Ability to take instruction as well as work on own initiative and follow Health & Safety legislation.
- Ability to report and summarise.
