Euro Auctions conducts unreserved auctions of industrial plant, construction equipment and agricultural machinery on a global basis with sites in the UK, Europe, UAE, Australia, US and Canada. We are the market leader in Europe, holding more sales and selling more lots per sale than any other auction house.
Key Activities
- Source and purchase parts for all types of machinery.
- Maintain optimal consumable stock levels for the workshop.
- Create purchase orders, allocate costs to machines and process invoices.
- Negotiate costs and actively seek new suppliers.
- Liaise with suppliers and arrange suitable delivery and collection times.
The Person
This role requires an organised individual with excellent problem solving and task management skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Due to the nature of this role, you must be able to work both indoors and outdoors year-round and be physically fit to climb on and off large equipment.
Increased Overtime Rate. Additional Leave for Long Service. Christmas Shutdown.
The Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience/interest in heavy plant machinery and/or automotive industry and good knowledge of the different categories.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Preference will be given to those with mechanic experience.
