Key Activities:
- Ensure that personal and collective Health and Safety awareness and responsibility is an embedded value across the entire Organisation.
- To provide competent and professional Health and Safety advice.
- To ensure that the Safety Management System adequately controls and manages risk and meets current legislation and the on-going needs of the Organisation and its customers.
- To advise, monitor and report on all aspects of Health & Safety relating to the Organisations responsibilities.
- To encourage and ensure continual improvement occurs and is able to be identified.
- To monitor all internal and external non-conformances and work constructively with all levels of management and staff in implementing solutions to prevent recurrence
- To maintain awareness of and bring to the attention of the Strategy Group and senior management any relevant statutory/legislative requirements and any initiatives and/or best practices relevant to the Safety Management System.
- To assist in arranging and monitoring First Aid Training and relevant training for operatives.
- To implement a quality system and ensure it is adhered to across the organisation.
The Person:
We\’re looking for someone proactive and detail-focused who genuinely cares about safety. You’ll need great communication skills, a practical approach to problem-solving, and the ability to keep things running smoothly while making continuous improvements.
The Requirements
- NEBOSH Diploma Certified or working towards (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience completing risk assessments.
- Minimum of 5 GCSE\’s A-C grade or equivalent including English and Maths.
- Good level of data entry with proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Flexibility and willingness to work extra hours during busy auction periods
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Self-motivated with good attention to detail.
