Job Title: General Yard Operative - NI Reporting to: Auction Yard Manager Location: Dromore, Co. Tyrone Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm & 2 out of 8 Saturdays

Euro Auctions conducts unreserved auctions of industrial plant, construction equipment and agricultural machinery on a global basis with sites in the UK, Europe, UAE, Australia, US and Canada.

We are the market leader in Europe, holding more sales and selling more lots per sale than any other auction house.

Key Activities

  • Taking pictures and videos of machinery for our website.
  • Assist other staff organising and preparing the yard for each sale.
  • Preparation of stock pre-auction.
  • Precise loading and unloading of machines.

The Person

This role is an active, outdoor job and requires someone with the ability to operate all types of heavy equipment and trucks.

You will be required to work outdoors in all weathers as well as being physically fit to climb on and off machinery.

If you have a knowledge of heavy plant/mining/quarry equipment, then we especially want to hear from you.

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to take instruction as well as work on own initiative and follow Health & Safety legislation.
  • Experience operating a forklift.
  • Willingness to work regular overtime during busy auction periods.
  • Good communication skills and fluent in English.
  • Experience operating a telehandler.
