Euro Auctions conducts unreserved auctions of industrial plant, construction equipment and agricultural machinery on a global basis with sites in the UK, Europe, UAE, Australia, US and Canada. We are the market leader in Europe, holding more sales and selling more lots per sale than any other auction house.
Key Activities
- Preparation and Interpretation of monthly management accounts, VAT returns and all year end activities.
- General accounting duties including sales & purchase ledger, multi-currency bank reconciliations, credit control and stock management.
- Implementation of financial controls and best business practices.
- Cashflow management.
- Supervision of junior team members.
- Preparation of monthly reports for management to include key business KPI\’s in line with reporting deadlines.
The Person
Accounting roles at Euro Auctions are challenging and diverse with a customer base spanning over 100 different countries. Our Accounts team must be motivated individuals with impeccable judgement and an innate ability to problem solve. Operating globally across 3 continents requires flexible individuals with ability to work to high standards in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CIPFA) with a minimum of 2 years\’ Post Qualified experience in either practice or industry.
- Proficient in Sage Line 50/Sage 200 and Excel.
- Excellent communicator with strong organisational and multi-tasking skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work to strict deadlines with limited supervision.
- Detail orientated individual with ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
- Quick learner and adaptable to an evolving business landscape.
- Supervisory Experience
- Tax Compliance knowledge.
