Euro Auctions conducts unreserved auctions of industrial plant, construction equipment and agricultural machinery on a global basis with sites in the UK, Europe, UAE, Australia, and US. We are the market leader in Europe, holding more sales and selling more lots per sale than any other auction house. The Company's continued growth has led to an opportunity for a Business Development Manager to develop our online marketplace platform.

Key Activities:

  • Development of the 24/7 marketplace concept.
  • Promote the use of marketplace within the existing sales team and outside companies/bodies.
  • Manage/utilise equipment sales team to sell marketplace stock.
  • Promote and establish council/public body business using existing sales channels.

Performance based bonus

30 days annual leave inclusive of public holidays. Early finish on Fridays. Christmas shutdown.

The Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience of Business Development Management.
  • Experience of running a successful sales team with individual team targets.
  • Analytical with previous experience in preparation of sales plans and reports.
  • Strategic, results driven individual with commercial business acumen.
  • Proven track record in key account acquisition.
  • Strong management skills, including performance management, coaching, succession planning and career development.
  • Track record of delivering results in fast paced competitive industry.
  • Understanding of CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of sales within commercial vehicles, construction equipment sector.
