Eurest UK is recruiting an experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our team at the UBER site in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven, hands‐on chef to work in a fast‐paced, high‐volume contract catering environment with an excellent work‐life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef in the day‐to‐day running of the kitchen
- Act as second‐in‐command, leading the kitchen team with confidence and professionalism
- Lead, train and motivate the brigade, driving performance and development
- Ensure consistent food quality, presentation and portion control at all times
- Oversee food safety, hygiene and full compliance with all H&S regulations
- Manage wastage and support effective stock control
- Take full responsibility for kitchen operations in the Head Chef's absence
- Support menu development and successful implementation
- Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, organisation and teamwork
- Drive discipline, standards and positive kitchen culture
About You
- Proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef or strong Sous Chef ready to step up
- Background in contract catering within a fast‐paced, high‐volume environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop junior chefs
- Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene and health & safety compliance
- Organised, calm under pressure and passionate about delivering high‐quality food
